After finishing grammar school Tina ran a business administration apprenticeship program with Deutschen Shell AG before graduating in business administration at the Hamburg university with a specialization in business law, taxes and accounting.
After working for two years with the audit company Schomerus & Partner in Hamburg she moved to pwc Duesseldorf / Frankfurt and worked for 12 years in the areas of international tax structuring, M&A and transfer pricing. Pwc is one of the biggest international audit and consulting companies with more than 250,000 employees. She gave advice to midsized family-owned companies as well as multinational listed companies. During this time she became a certified tax advisor and obtained commercial power of attorney.
In 2011, Tina moved to Vaillant Group and became Head of the Global Tax Department and general manager. Vaillant is an international group in the area of heating and air conditioning with about 2,5 bn € turnover and more then 12,000 employees. From 2015 – 2021, she was VP of the Tax Department and general manager of Lufthansa, Frankfurt. Lufthansa is the biggest airline group in Europe with about 36 bn € turnover and more then 135,000 employees (pre-COVID-19). Tina was member of Lufthansa’s Global Leadership Team, the Finance Committee and the Group Compliance Committee.
Since October 2021 until September 2022, Tina worked as Deputy Head of Tax at Deutsche Bank AG.
In 2023, she joined pwc again (see above) as a tax partner and advises multinational companies in modernising and digitizing their tax function (“Tax Function of the Future”).
During her career, Tina took over several supervisory board memberships: Lufthansa Cityline and Deutsche Lufthansa Technik AG (until Sept. 2021), Deutsche Holdings (Luxembourg) Sarl (until October 2022).
